‘The Lavatory of Greed’ (2023) was an installation made in collaboration with ‘Het Hoogkoor’ in the Sint Michaelskerk (Grote Kerk) in Zwolle. It depicts a huge (4 meter high) toilet lady that has many arms spread over the huge area around her. She holds a pile of gold and coins and other riches close to her, as well as cleans the toilets behind her without even looking. The installation questions the borders of greed, and when riches are deserved or not, inequality and the question whether it is okay to surrender yourself to a bit of greed every now and then.
